Question
State how the velocity-time graph can be used to find the displacement of the body in a given time.

Solution
Displacement from velocity-time graph
Displacement is the area enclosed between velocity-time graph and time axis.
The area enclosed above the time axis represents positive displacement and the area enclosed below it is negative displacement.
Total displacement is obtained by adding the areas numerically with proper sign.
Here total displacement (between t= 0 s and t= 20 s) = 30-10 = 20 m.
