According to the Joule's heating effect of current, when current I flows through a resistor of electric resistance R, heat is produced. The amount of heat produced is directly proportional to the:
(i) the square of current flowing in a circuit
(ii) resistance in the circuit and
(iii) time in which the current flows in the circuit
