Solution

When lead nitrate PbNO32 reacts with an aqueous solution of ammonium hydroxide solution NH4OH ,then a chalky white precipitate of lead hydroxide (Pb(OH)2) is formed.

  • The reaction can be represented as:

Pb(NO3)2(aq)+2NH4OH(aq)2NH4NO3(aq)+Pb(OH)2Chalkywhite
