Solution

  • When a liquid transforms into a gas, it is called evaporation. It's also referred to as vaporisation. It frequently occurs at the water's surface. It is a gradual and constant process that occurs at all temperatures.
  • Evaporation increases with the increase in surface area. It is because, the larger the surface area that is exposed to air, the more molecules will escape into the air.
