State the advantages and disadvantages of using solar cells.

advantages of solar cooker :-

1. it is cheap source of energy.
2. it does not produce any smoke i.e. it is ecofriendly.
3. it doesn`t harm the nutritional value of food.

disadvantages of solar cooker :-

1. uniform sunrays is required .
2. sunray keeps changing time to time so solar device is to be adjusted after a certain period
3. it can not be used in frying
4. it is not effective in polar regions b`coz there is no sunlight.
5. it is also not available at night.
