Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other halogenated ozone-depleting substances(ODS) are mainly responsible for man-made chemical ozone depletion.

CFC is considered the main reason for 80% ozone layer depletion. It is known as Chlorofluorocarbon. this CFC basically comes from the refrigerator, air-conditioner, deodorant, etc.

The chemicals which are responsible for the depletion of the ozone layer are Chlorofluorocarbons, Halogens, Hydrofluorocarbons, etc.
