Solution

  • In Haber's process 1:3 ratio of Nitrogen and Hydrogen is treated in presence of Fe as the catalyst at 450°C temperature and 200atm pressure to produce liquid Ammonia.
  • Unreacted Nitrogen and Hydrogen are pumped back for recycling in the same process.
  • N2(g)+3H2(g)4500C,FeCatalyst2NH3(l)

The main conditions are :

  1. Temperature- 400°-450C
  2. Pressure- 200atm
  3. Catalysts- Iron(Fe)
