State the difference between laser light and ordinary light

Ordinary light is divergent and incoherent whereas laser light is highly directional and coherent. Ordinary light is mostly unpolarized whereas light from a laser is polarized.
Ordinary light is polychromatic ( contains all colors of light) whereas light from a laser is monochromatic.
