Sweat gland Sebaceous gland
They are exocrine glands present in the dermis layer of the skin. It is a microscopic exocrine gland usually found attached to the hair follicles present in the skin.
Produce a watery secretion called sweat. Secrete an oily or waxy matter, called sebum.
Swear helps in regulating the temperature of the body. The sebum helps in keeping the skin waterproof and aids in preventing entry of disease-causing agents.
