a.The center social and political qualities of our Constitution carried the heritage of battle of freedom which was battled for freedom , uniformity and equity of the country.
b. ​The social, economic and political exploitation of the country during the British rule certainly gave impetus to our representatives and leadership who were framing the constitution to acknowledge the values which were denied to the Indian people for centuries.
c.Our political pioneers who led the nationalist movement longed for a constitution that would lay the premise of a society on the principles of equality, social justice, democratic values and human rights.
d. Gandhi always captured our thoughts and imaginations and empasised on the ideals of liberty, equality, justice, rights and dignity of labour.
e. He dreamt of India where there exist no discrimination between upper or lower class, where there prevail gender equality and where there are no caste based differences.
f. He dreamt of a country where people are relieved from sinful activities like intoxicating drinks and drugs.
g. Mahatma Gandhi visualized that India of his dreams would be based on:
(i) Social Justice
(ii) Equality , freedom
(iii) Abolition of untouchability
(iv) Equal rights and participation of Women
