Heart:

  1. The heart is the pumping organ found in most animals.
  2. It helps to pump blood to all parts of the body.
  3. The heart has four chambers namely - left auricle, right auricle, left ventricle, and right ventricle.
  4. It has four valves namely - tricuspid, pulmonary semilunar, mitral or bicuspid, and aortic semilunar valves.

Tricuspid valve:

  1. The tricuspid valve is also known as the right atrio-ventricular valve.
  2. As the name indicates, it is located between the right atrium and the right ventricle.
  3. It helps to prevent blood move from the right ventricle to the right atrium during ventricular contraction.
