State the fate of a pair of autosomes during gamete formation.

Autosomes are the chromosomes that are related to all the other functions but not related sex determination. During gamete formation, a homologous pair of chromosome separates and half of the pair of the autosome moves to each gamete. So, each gamete receives a single autosome from the pair.
