The function of the given two parts of a human are as follows:
(a) Cornea: It serves as a filter, screening out some of the most damaging ultraviolet wavelengths of sunlight. It allows the passage of light into the eye.
(b) Iris: The movement of iris controls the size of the pupils and controls the entry of light into the eye. The pigment of iris gives the eye its colour.
