1. There are nine elements that move the universe. These are: the earth, water, fire, air or winds, sky, time, directions, the soul and the mind. Five activities go on because of these elements: throwing up, throwing down, contraction, expansion and transport.
2. If we divide the matter continuously then after certain stage it becomes impossible to divide . Kanad called these particles as ‘Parmanu’​​​​​​
