Solution

Dear Student

The main causes of displacement of rural population in India are:
(1) In search of jobs: The main and foremost reason is in search of jobs. Cities provided more opportunities for employment and jobs as compared to rural areas. This is due to rapid growth of companies in urban areas. Better job incentives and handsome wages made people flee from villages to city.
(2) Provide better infrastructural and health facilities: Cities offer better infrastructure comprising of quality education, services etc. Moreover better health facilities, hospitals and other technological advancements are major factors for displacement.
(3) Sometimes rural people are engaged in seasonal activities hence they displace from one place to another for their work.
