• Tin is its main additive but sometimes with manganese, silicon or aluminium.
• It expands when hardening from liquid to solid.
• Oxidizes to produce coloured patina.
• It has Low friction against other metals.
• Bronze doesn’t produce sparks when struck.
• It is a highly Ductile alloy and it is brittle in nature but less than iron.
