• Duralumin is the alloy of Aluminium $\left(Al\right)$ $95\%$ and Copper $\left(Cu\right)$ $4\%$.
• It is a very reactive, ductile and soft workable alloy.
• Its tensile strength id higher than aluminium but its resistance to corrosion is very poor.
• Duralumin is mainly used in making aircrafts structures, screw machines, truck wheels, etc.
• Duralumin is also used as a sheet for the auto-body panels.
• This possesses very high machinability.
