  1. Eustachian tube: Eustachian tube is also referred to as an auditory tube. This auditory tube connects the middle ear and pharynx. It equalises air pressure in the middle ear to outside. It also drains the mucus of the middle ear.
  2. Suspensory ligament of the eye: It helps in maintaining and supporting the position of the eyeball in its normal upward and forward position within the orbit, and preventing downward displacement of the eyeball.
  3. Ear ossicles: It connects the tympanic membrane to the inner ear allowing for the transmission of sound waves.
