Solution

The functions of the given are :

a) PlASMA MEMBRANE or Cell membrane

¤ It separates content of cell from its surroundings...

¤ It regulates the entry of certain solids and ions into the cell.

¤ It maintains the shape of the cell that is the animal cell.

b) RIBOSOME :

¤ Its main function is only Protein synthesis...

c)LYSOSOMES:

¤ Intracellular digestion..

¤ Destroy foreign substances ...

¤ When a cell is old or injured this rapidly destroy organelles hence called suicide bags.

d)GOLGI APPARATUS :

¤ Synthesis and secretion of enzymes , hormones and etc..

¤ The formation of acrosome of sperm..

e)MITOCHONDRIA :

¤ Release of energy from pyruvic acid produced in cytoplasm in the form of ATP .

¤ Synthesis of respiratory enzymes

f)CYTOPLASM :

¤ Different organelles is contained in it to perform different functions..

¤ All metabolic activities occurs in it ..

¤ it provides a medium of earlier steps of respiration

g) ASTERS OF CENTROSOME :

¤ Present in animal cell only and helps during the process of mitosis.

h)CHROMOSOME :

¤ Chromosomes carry hereditary information or the genes..

i)GLYCOGEN GRANULES :

¤ Starch glycogen and fat containing granules serve as food for the cell..

¤ They are the small particles or crystals or droplets in a plant cell..

j) VACUOLES :

¤ Storage of water and other substances, food pigments and waste products ..

¤ Gives turgidity to the plant cell by pressing against the cell wall.
