(1) On keeping aside the milk in a dish for a few hours or more, the change observed will be that the milk has changed into curd.
(2) The change cannot be reversed.
(3)Making of curd from milk is permanent and irreversible change. Therefore it is a chemical change.
(4) New substance formed:-
(i) Original substance - milk
(ii) Final substance - curd
