State the reason for the following(1) The Rings of the cartilage are present in trachea (2) plants look green in colour

Dear student,
1) The trachea is encircled by ‘c’ shaped cartilaginous rings which prevent trachea from collapsing when air passes down or when we bend our neck. The rings keep the trachea open so that the air can pass in or out.
2) Plants look green in colour due to the presence of chlorophyll in green leaves and green stems.
