Blackboard dries up after wiping it. This occurs due to the process of evaporation. (1 Mark)

When the blackboard is wiped, the surface of the board will become wet with water. After sometime, the water on the surface of the board get converted into water vapour, leaving the blackboard dried. (1 Mark)

This process of conversion of water from its liquid form (state) into vapour or gaseous form (state) is known as evaporation. (1 Mark)
