Dear student.
Trachea, also known as wind pipe, is a long narrow tube, which is lined with ciliated mucus membrane. The trachea branches into two tubes, the left and right bronchi. The cilia move the mucus containing dust particles back to the pharynx, where it is swallowed.
The respiratory surface of mammals consists of many air sacs called alveoli inside a pair of lungs. Gaseous exchange takes place in the alveoli of the lungs.
A valve is a membranous structure present in a hollow organ. It folds or closes to prevent the return flow of the body fluid passing through it. The valves present in between the auricles and ventricles are meant to prevent the backflow of blood from the ventricles to auricles. These also form the passage for blood to pass from the auricle to ventricles.
Capillaries are the thinnest blood vessels that joins arteries and veins. They supply blood to the individual tissues.
Regards.
