State the third law of motion.

Newton's third law of motion states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. These action-reaction forces act on two different bodies. E.g. while walking, we push the ground backward (action). The ground, in turn, pushes us forward (reaction) which helps us move on the ground.
