Question

State the two laws of electromagnetic induction.

Open in App
Solution

Faraday's laws of induction:-

Step 1: Faraday's first law of induction:

An electromotive force is induced when a conductor is placed in a varying magnetic field. If the conductor circuit is closed the current is induced which is known as induced current.

Step 2: Faraday's second law of induction:

The magnitude of induced current is directly proportional to the rate at which the magnetic lines of force associated with the coil changes.
