Solution

The type of reproduction of multiple fission in Amoeba is asexual reproduction. It is asexual as only one parent is involved and there is no fusion of gametes.
Differences between Multiple fission and regeneration
Multiple fission:
(1) Multiple fission is a kind of asexual reproduction.
(2) In multiple fission, division of nucleus takes place.
(3) It is carried out by the repeated division of cytoplasm.
(4) It takes place in unicellular organism e.g. Amoeba.
(5) Specialized cells are not required in multiple fission.

Regeneration:
(1) Regeneration is an accidental process. It cannot be called reproduction process.
(2) In regeneration, division of the nucleus may not take place.
(3) It is carried out by specialized cells in the body.
(4) It takes place in multicellular organism e.g. planaria.
(5) Specialized cells carry out regeneration.
