The force which acts on a body for a small duration of time, but produces a significant change in its momentum, is called the Impulse of force
As the impulse of force is the measure of change in momentum, therefore, its units are the same as that of momentum.
In the SI system, its unit is newton-second (Ns) or kg m/s.
