$\therefore 5+3(-2)=-1$,

Valency of $N{O}_3^{-}$ is $1.$

$c)Hydroxide:$ It has $-1$ valency $⟶O{H}^{-}$,

$-2$ charge of $O+(+1)$ charge of $H=-2+1=-1$
