1. Work function of metal surface:- If the work function of the metal surface is lesser, then the rate of emission of electrons is more and vice-versa.
2. Cross-sectional area of metal surface:- Large is the cross-selection area of the metal surface, more is the rate of electron emission, and vice-versa.
3. Temperature of the metal surface:- If the temperature of the metal surface is more than the rate of emission of electrons is more and vice-versa.
