A graph is a pictorial representation of two physical variables recorded in an experiment is called a graph.

Precautions to be considered while plotting graph:

  1. Points marked on graph paper should be sharp and not thick.
  2. All points should be encircled by a small circle.
  3. Coordinates of all points should be written close to the points plotted so that points can be easily located.
