(i) Let us consider two odd numbers 1 and 3.
So,
$1 + 3 = 4$
The sum is 4 which is an even number.
Let us consider two odd numbers 3 and 5.
So,
$3 + 5 = 8$
The sum is 8 which is an even number.
Hence, the sum of two odd numbers is always even.
So, the statement is false.
