Circumstances causing electric shock :
i. Poor insulation of wires,
ii. Touching the appliance with wet water,
iii. No fuse provided with the appliance,
iv. No local earthing, and
v. No earthing of a building/house.
Preventive measures for electric
shock :
i. Good quality insulation of wires,
ii. Never operate appliance with wet hands,
iii. Appliance must be provided with the fuse
in live wire,
iv. Proper local earthing, and
v. Appliance must have its metallic case
earthed.
