State two differences between fixed deposits and savings deposits.

1) The amount from savings deposit can be withdrawn anytime whereas in fixed deposits account, the amount is deposited for a fixed period of time & cannot be withdrawn before that period.
2) The rate of interest is generally higher in case of fixed deposit as compare to savings deposit.
