Solution

Dear student

When only direction of current is reversed, direction of force acting on coductor is reversed according to right hand thumb rule due to which direction of rotation of motor is also reversed
When both current and magnetic field direction are reversed , there is no change in direction of force acting on conductor according to right hand thumb rule hence direction of rotation of motor remains same
