State wheather the statement is True or False:

Consider the nitrogen - oxygen bond lengths in NO+2, NO2 and NO3. The longest NO bond is in NO3 and shortest is in NO+2.

In NO+2, NO2 and NO3, the bond order of NO+2 is maximum and that of NO3 is minimum.
Since bond order is inversely proportional to bond length.

So, the bond length of NO+2 is shortest and NO3 is the longest.
