In a semiconductor, conductivity is due to the movement of electron - hole pairs, As the temperature is increased covalent bonds breaks and more electron - hole pairs are available for conduction. Thus conductivity increases and resistivity is the reciprocal of conductivity, so it decreases.
Therefore the resistance decreases with increase in temperature.
