Let A=[1023] and B=[1010]
Then
AB=[1×1+0×11×0+1×02×1+3×12×0+3×0]
AB=[1050]
Hence, (AB)=[1500] ...(1)
Now,
A=[1203] and B=[1100]
AB=[1203][1100]
AB=[1×1+2×01×1+2×00×1+3×00×1+3×0]
AB=[1100] ...(2)

From equation (1) and equation (2)
(AB)AB
Hence, the given statement is false.
