State whether the following statement is true or false:
The adjective of colour always comes before the adjective of size.
The given statement is false. We can use several adjectives to describe a single noun. But when we use adjectives of different kinds together they usually follow an order. The commonly followed order would be size, quality, colour, origin and substance. Generally, it is the adjective of size that comes before the other kinds of adjectives. Therefore the adjective of colour comes after the adjective of size. For example “A small red box” or “A long purple stick”.
