- In the pollination experiment, flowers are covered with plastic bags for restricting pollination. And then few flowers are uncovered so that pollens can be dusted only on those flower.
- With two sets of flowers i.e., one covered and one uncovered we can compare the process of fruit formation.
- Fruit formation symbolises the occurrence of fertilisation.
- Fertilisation can only take place once pollination has occurred.
- So the pollinated flowers develop into fruits whereas non-pollinated flowers do not develop into the fruit.
