Open in App
Solution

The given algebraic expression is x2+7x+9.
We know that, an algebraic expression in which the variable involved has only non-negative integral powers is called a polynomial.
Here, we have,
x2+7x+9=x2+7x1+9
This is a polynomial. Because the variable x has exponent 2 in first term and exponent 1 in second term, which are both non-negative integers.

Hence, the given algebraic expression is a polynomial.
