Given, 4:7=20:45, Where 4,7,20 and 45 are in proportion.

We can write the above proportion as :

47=2045

4×45=20×7 (on cross multiplying)

180=140

As we can see in the above expression L.H.S. value is not equal to the R.H.S. value.

So, the given values are not in proportion.

Hence, the given statement is false (F).
