Solution

The correct option is A True
Limitations of Bohr Model :

  • Bohr's theory does not explain the spectrum of a multi-electron atom.

  • Bohr interrelates quantum theory of radiation and classical law of physics without any theoretical explanation. This was the biggest drawback of this model.

  • Bohr's theory does not explain the fine structure of the spectral lines. Fine structure of the spectral line is obtained when a spectrum is viewed by spectroscopy of more resolution power.

  • Bohr theory does not explain the splitting of spectral lines in the presence of a magnetic field (Zeman's effect) or electric field (Stark's effect).

Therefore, the given statement is true.
