Yes, we agree with this statement. Histogram is a form of representing the frequency distribution of any attribute or variables. It is a two dimensional figure that depict the frequency distribution of a continuous series by the means of rectangles. Here, adjacent rectangles are prepared consisting of length as well as breadth. The width and height of the rectangles determine the class interval and class frequency, respectively.
A frequency polygon, on the other hand, is a straight line curve obtained by joining the midpoints of the rectangular blocks of a histogram.
