Solution

Effect of Sulphur dioxide

(ⅰ ) Moist blue litmus turns red and finally colourless as Sulphur dioxide act as an acidic gas and then a bleaching agent.

(ⅱ) When rose petals are placed in a jar of Sulphur dioxide, they get decolourised. This is because Sulphur dioxide is good reducing agent. But since rose petals are dry, so they will not get decolourised.

(ⅱⅰ) The pink colour of Potassium permanganate soaked paper turns colourless , because of bleaching property of Sulphur dioxide.

So due to bleaching and reducing agent property of Sulphur dioxide, the blue litmus turns into red, dry rose petals get decolourised and pink colour of Potassium permanganate paper to colourless.
