All the figures having two different lines of symmetry have point symmetry. This is something you have learned earlier in this chapter. And as it turns out, any figure which has point symmetry exhibits rotational symmetry around that point of symmetry.
For e.g. the figure shown below has point symmetry and hence rotational symmetry.
But a figure having rotational symmetry and not point symmetry is not that hard to find. For e.g.
Thus, statement 1 is true and statement 2 is false.
So, look for the alphabets which have point symmetry.
