The correct option is A Statement - 1 is True, Statement - 2 is False
Statement 1 is true as it follows Pythagoras theorem.
Now in statement 2 it is given that it follows Pythagoras theorem , so it is a right angled triangle. Now the angle opposite to the first side is 90 .So statement 2 is not correct.
Hence option C is correct.
