Cr3+=[Ar]3d3
V3+=[Ar]3d2
Ti3+=[Ar]3d1
So number of unpaired electrons in Mn2+,Cr3+,V3+and Ti3+ are 5, 3, 2 and 1 respectively.
(2) The magnetic moment can be calculated by the formula, [(n)(n+2)]12, where n = number of unpaired electrons. Thus magnetic moment of V3+ is 812 BM
