[Ni(CO)4] i.e. Nickel tetra carbonyl has a hybridisation of sp3 and therefore its geometry is tetrahedral.
Also, [Ni(CO)4]2 has a hybridisation of dsp2 and therefore its geometry is square planar.
Thus, Ni(CO)4 and Ni(CO)24 both are tetrahedral in shape is a false statement.
