Solution
The correct option is B Statement II only Before the 1520s, Alam Khan desired to rule over Delhi and hence, started conspiring with Daulat Khan Lodhi. By 1524, Daulat Khan and Babur conspired to overthrow Ibrahim Lodhi. After defeating Ibrahim Lodhi, Daulat Khan had hoped that Babur would hand over the administration of annexed regions to him and return to Kabul. However, he only received Sultanpur and Jalandhar. Being unhappy with this arrangement, he rebelled against Babur. However, his rebellion was quashed and he had to escape to the hills. Babur handed over the administration of Dipalpur to Alam Khan.
