Solution

The correct option is A Statement I is true and II is false
The process of combining two or more fibres to produce a fabric with better characteristics is called blending.

For example, when cotton, a natural fibre which is comfortable to wear, is combined with terylene, a synthetic fibre which is wrinkle free, the resulting fabric terricot will be wrinkle free as well as comfortable to wear.

While blending, if the percentage of natural fibre is more, the blended fabric will be more comfortable to wear.
